Rated 5 out of 5 by Ryan-SC from Very High Quality!! Sizing: I wear a 11.5 in Adidas and Nikes and bought an 11 in these only because I have a thin foot. I would say they are very true to size and you would only need to go down half a size if you have a skinny foot/toes. Took these boots on a hiking trip fresh out of the box in Sedona Az and the Grand Canyon in the same week and was blown away by the comfort and ability. Walked over 15 miles in these through snow, rocks and mud and even wore them out on the town a few nights in-between. After the trip they still look new after a quick wipe down! The exterior is extremely durable and any scuffs easily wipe away. Don't hesitate on buying these!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Chris G from Possible manufacturing issue - Outsole Support There's a fair amount of drop from the heel to the toe. The stack felt high and tough all around. (Forsake's Phil Mid has less of a drop, less support, and less stack than the Halden.) Halden offers substantial support from the materials around the ankle, and the rugged sole felt like it could tackle anything. The outsole uneven support under the left foot. I felt increasing pressure between the arch and ball of my foot. I took out the footbed/insole to verify, and it really was the shape of the boot. I never had this problem with other footwear, and the right boot fit without problems. I don't imagine that breaking them in would really affect that portion of the boot, so I returned them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pigneguy from took me a moment It took me a moment to get over my last Forsake hiking boots.... but as always , effortless break in and once that leather's seen a few motorcycle rides and hikes it looks far more rugged and less sneaker. Possibly a tad on the small size. Or my feet have grown.

Rated 4 out of 5 by P. Alma from Fashion over function I loved these right out of the box, fit was very comfortable. I am usually a 7 and they are a good fit with room for cozy socks. I wore them to the store a few times to break them in but when I took them out for hikes & minor climbing I wasn't totally satisfied. They had great grip for the rocks i came across, but they weren't flexible enough on the inclines to my liking. I had to adjust my socks a lot as the ankle part rubbed way too much when flexing my foot. I think these will still be great for walking trails but not anything that requires much bending uphill if that makes sense.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zhud06 from Sturdy Solid hiking boots. I use them to hike around the hill country and play endless rounds of disc golf in. Pretty light and super sturdy. The kind of boots you have for 10+ years! Nice a snug near the top where others would rub your skin raw.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Colorado kid from Decent Got them a few weeks ago. Been getting them ready for the Colorado hiking season by wearing them to the office. No trail use and the leather is already showing wear.. This is my 5th pair of Forsakes and I love them however I hope they last all summer like my old clydes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Corvado711 from Nice quality, wrong fit These are great boots, but I personally had challenges getting the right fit. After exchanging it for different sizes 2x (with the 2nd being the wrong color) I still could not get a good fit

Rated 5 out of 5 by coopdog23 from Look amazing, and comfy too! I bought these about a month ago after having a great experience with Forsake's Trail boots. The Haldens feel plenty warm, so much so that I'm waiting for colder weather to wear them more. They come up higher than I thought, encapsulating the ankle, definitely giving them a true boot feel. I love the look of them. They're easy to put on, which is nice for rushing out the door. The leather seems like it might scratch easily, but so far that hasn't been the case. So to be determined there. And of course, they are incredibly comfortable, a Forsake hallmark. I plan on using these boots for mostly casual wear and in town walking, and I believe that they will be a good fit for that.
