Rated 5 out of 5 by molstahl from LOVE These Shoes!!! Where to begin! I just took these on a week-long adventure to Iceland. After wearing them for seven hours on an airplane, I took them on a loose gravel hike up to a hot spring where I took them through low water. My feet stayed completely dry—off to a great start! Over the course of my trip, I put these shoes in every condition imaginable: dry/loose gravel, mud, snow, glaciers, rivers, wet rocky terrain, dry rocky terrain, lava fields, hiking volcanoes, wearing them out to dinner at nice restaurants, walking miles through downtown Reykjavík, and airport travel. The Vibram sole was grippy on all of the terrain I took them over and I didn’t fall once due to loss of traction. These shoes excelled in all areas and were so comfy, my feet didn’t hurt at all the entire trip. Zero blisters. A shoe that fits that well right out of the box is a very special shoe!! I live in Denver, CO and while I haven’t tested them in my backyard yet, I have no doubt that they will kick booty at everything I throw at them. They are cute, comfortable, highly functional, and incredibly well made. Way to knock it out of the park, guys!! Keep up the good work!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alyssa from Great travel shoe I bought these for a summer European/Italian vacation. Was looking for a shoe that would look stylish in the city but also provide traction on a moderate hike. These were great for both. They are leather and waterproof which are both great features, however with that, they are not super breathable so if you tend to get hot feet keep that in mind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Elly Dee from Good Walking/Hiking Shoe I bought these a year ago. I got the grey. They are super comfy and have great traction and stability in all kinds of scampering about the mountains. Up side: Super comfy. The material of the tongue and heel cut are wonderfully soft and hug the ankle so comfortably! They are also a great hiking shoe, with excellent traction in dry conditions. Extra laces came in handy this season as the metal loop at the top has cut through my last pair of laces, so I've now swapped in the alternate color pair they sent with. Down side: I find the leather does stain and they look pretty ratty compared to other upper finishes (like the Loop, which just wipes off with no issues). These, to me, are more about function than fashion, as they perform well, but I don't love their look as much as other forsakes. The foam of the lower portion of the shoe also cuts and scuffs easily, and the tread pattern holds mud like nothing else! Maybe change up the tread to better handle mud etc. Housekeeping Notes: I always put in my own insoles in all shoes. I also buy a half size down in Forsake's and find that works perfectly. Overall, they do their job admirably, and are better looking than many a hiking shoe. Also comfy comfy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Angelas from Not the right fit I love Forsake shoes so I was very disappointed when I tried these on. The sole is harder than I am used to and the shoe pulls down my ankle sock which is all I wear. I was looking forward to a waterproof shoe to walk my dogs on the dirt trails by my house. Also, I found them way less attractive in person though comfort and dry feet are my priority.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Caroline from Wish they were comfortable These were not at all comfortable, mostly because of the elevation of the heel which puts all your weight on the toes, since they are the lowest point in this shoe. They looked great bit I couldn't wear them on hikes longer than an hour without discomfort, or for more than 2 hours standing during the day. Maybe they would be okay as a fashion shoe but not for real outdoor use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Boomer from awesome I purchased the women’s low rider in black/olive. They required no breaking in period, very comfortable first time I wore them. Good support, waterproof in snow, good traction in loose gravel, dirt, grass, snow, on uneven ground. They are so well made.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NJPBNY from Almost Perfect The brand runs large so I needed to send back my 7.5’s for 7’s. I’m wearing them for the second time and the back of one of the shoes feels like it’s rubbing - the backs of the shoes also feel about a quarter-inch too low. Other than that ... I like the colors, the style is very casual, more sneaker-looking than hiking boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by rlm685 from very cozy Super comfortable shoes that are keeping my feet nice & dry during the Pacific Northwest rainy season. A few odd things about the shoe: the tread of the makes it really difficult to clean, the top of the shoe feels extremely wide so I have to cinch the laces SUPER tight; because the laces run through a metal eyelet, my laces were shredded within a month. Other than those things - it’s a decent shoe. This is my second pair of shoes from this brand.
